Program prostart starter and new remote

I have the Canadian Tire prostart carstarter model CT-3160. I lost the original remote now I have to buy a new one, model http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows...jsp#product_aa

I cannot seem to find how you program the new remote with the existing carstarter. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Go to this site and DL the manual Prostart

i'm pretty sure it is the same for all model.

you open your hood.

hold the hood switch for 4 sec, release and press again for 1sec and release.

The antenna light should be on.

Go to your car, turn key into ignition ON and turn off right away.
Press and hold the lock button for 5 sec on the remote.
The parking light should flash.

now the remote should work.
