I'm in a Cogeco cable area, my promotion is ending and they won't offer me anything below top rate.

No DSL here, so my options appear to be Rogers Portable Internet or Bell Sympatico Unplugged (I've heard that satellite is 2-way now without a phone line but I don't know anything about it).

My lower threshold is 1.5 Mbps. The best I've been able to find is this.

Rogers Portable Internet:
Speed: 1.5 Mbps
Modem: $99.95 (probably buy used)
First 12 months: $44.95 ($44.95 regular)
Contract: No commitment after 12 months

Bell Sympatico Unplugged:
Speed: 3 Mbps
Modem: $79 (probably buy used)
First 3 months: $19.94
Contract: Additional 21 months at $55 (think I'll pay $50 because home phone is with Bell)

Anything else out there?
