Provincial parks open on Canada Day?

Provincial parks open on Canada Day?

We always choose to just s
tay home on Canada
Day but this year we have friends from overseas and we need to find a place to visit with hiking picnic etc on July 1...are the provincial parks open in Ontario ?

I'm not 100% certain but I'm going to say yes.

Edit: I know gatineau park is in Quebec so I don't see why others would not be.

Thanks, I just thought that these parks require admission fee and that means need someone there to collect the fee..

In SK they are all open, and have special Canada Day events.

Why not try google the park you are thinking of going to?

yes they are open. Ones that arent staffed at times have self serve payment

Gatineau Park is a federal park. But yeah, I've never heard of a park closing on Canada day, provincial or otherwise.
Toronto is a very small part of Canada
