Believe me it is 100% legit... and people who just ordered now will help me prove it in the next couple of days! (maybe even tomorrow lol)

Your best bet are the local mom and pop store. It's very high chance they always sell early (even with game release).

As you can see on the final picture, the PS VITA is slightly bigger than the PSP (notice the edge is a bit exposed when put in the PSP pouch)

Here is a very quick review as I've only fiddled around it for around 2 hrs.

1) The very first thing you'll notice is the weight. Feels VERY sturdy! Not too light and not too heavy. It feels very well built!

2) Once you turn the system on, the SCREEN! Words (or videos on youtube) can't describe how AMAZING this OLED screen is!! You really have to see it to believe it!

3) Touch screen works just as good (if not better, in my opinion) than tablets or my iPhone 4.

4) Dual analog sticks. Sony PERFECTED this! Enough said.

This is one beast of a handheld!

Sony probably won't care, they'll just be glad it is selling at all after the poor start in Japan.

The "In-Stock" status went away. It's back to shipping on the 22nd.

My Guess is that Amazon realized there mistake and change the status.

Ordered today, still says arrival date of Friday. Would think that if we ordered before the status changed to pre-order, we would still get our systems...

Edit: Just got my email from amazon saying it has shipped. I ordered it about 2pm this afternoon, and my notification came, well just before 8pm. I would assume, if you've ordered it before it went back to "pre-order" status you will get your unit!
