PS3 40gb
Hello, I have searched high and low for a deal on a PS3 but seem to have missed the boat on most.
I will most likely buy the dell deal for the free ratchet and clank but I would like to know if it is possible to price match this anywhere because I don't want to wait on shipping, I called my local future shop and customer support said no, while an employee said yes. I find this a bit confusing so if anyone has any success stories that would be great.
I have also read of a $30 off coupon for RCSS, is it still kicking?
If somebody could provide either a alternative deals or perhaps stores I could go to that would price match dell, that would be great, Thank you!

welcome to the wonderful world of futureshop and their price matching. It totally depends on the employee, mind you i have never had trouble price matching (or deal matching) dell.
I have had problems other times though. Sometimes i dont even leave the store i just go to a different customer service rep who does it. Sometimes i leave it a day or two and go back, get someone different who then price matches it.
Only thing you can do is try, no guarantees unfortunately.

Its is nearly impossible to get ANYWHERE to pricematch online retailers. Most flat out say no and others go to get managers approval and come back and say no. I was able to get future shop to price match Dell's deal on my second visit after asking to speak with a manager. There official policy states that they will not match online stores unless they have next day shipping and the advertised item in stock for immediate delivery. I think he was busy so he just told the clerk to put it through. I ended up getting a 12ft rocketfish hdmi (retails for $120) plus ratchet and clank free as well as $30 off the console. I literally tried 20 different retailers in Kelowna and even went to Sony Store where the clerk who I semi knew laughed in my face and said Sony already sells PS3's at a loss. I guess persistance pays off. It may be easier in a big city where there are multiple locations with a clerk that doesn't know better.
