I still have an outstanding order from Dec 6. Total radio silence. I think they're done.

I wonder if my NCIX-branded shopping bag will be a collectors item now...

And why, for the love of all that is holy, is their website still up?

Mike's has served me well. They selection is quite as broad as NCIX was, but it's getting better. Mike's Computer Shop

Since it's an auction thought it'll be better off posting here than Hot Deals. Looks like it's liquidation time for NCIX. There's a quite a lot of stuff left and you may be able to score a deal on certain things although I have seen people start bidding wars and end up paying more than retail price. Have fun!

"No first-time Internet bidders" - what's their criteria for that one?

All these problems and their website is STILL up and selling products?
This is the great ideological divide of our times: not between left and right but between those of us who believe in truth; and those who believe, Oprah style, that we’re all entitled to our own truths and that everyone’s is equally special.

It looks like the format is going to be auctioning off large lots at once, like a bunch of office furniture, product shelving, or a palette stack of boxes. In other words, not for individuals looking to buy components. I assume that those have already been returned to suppliers or sold to other computer wholesalers.

You have to register in advance as a bidder, and they said they will call every bidder individually to check them out. Therefore, no last minute internet bidder registrations after the auction has already opened on the 21st.
