Wow how are you guys paying $90 for 90 days? I though the plan was 4GB / $40 promo (minus the auto pay), which brings it down to $114 / 90 days which is what I am paying.

There are various ways to get rewards, my $120 90-day 12gb plan goes like this:
Mine's similar. Although I just logged in and noticed that I'm only getting $15 in referral rewards, when I should be getting $24. It *was* correct before, time to hit up the mods I guess.

And a follow-up: sent a message to the mods asking about it at 9:47AM. Response received at 10:22AM. Mods aren't able to fix referral issues themselves, but Mary_M had already created a ticket and sent it out for me before replying. Yeah, it might take a few days to get fixed, but my renewal isn't due for a while so that's fine. So much easier to take 2 minutes to send a note to them, and have it get resolved while I do other stuff, than to have to wait on hold for 10 minutes waiting for a rep to answer the phone, then take 10 minutes explaining the situation, then wait on hold again while they look into it, etc etc etc. I wish every company had support that was this easy.

I would love to recommend this and hope to get some more referrals but this is cold. Can't reasonably advise people to a buy a pay ahead plan that isn't a spectacular deal.

There will be better promos than this from someone at some point and you'll regret having ~$150 invested for 3mths and not being able to leave without paying that steep penalty.

I wouldn't say cold but I wouldn't say hot. The Zoomer deal which everyone is clamoring over is $2 less than PM if you do auto pay with PM. If you need more data the PM deal is $53 with auto pay and Zoomer is $54 with 1GB less data.

Many of us got the 5 gig for $50 from Fido when we asked for a pricematch for the Freedom price. No contract and no 30 day limit.

I think the real deal here is the 90 day / Province Wide / Global Text / 6gb for $84. You get a larger discount .

Broken down for 30day ave = $26 (with auto pay) you get province wide and 2GB.

Actually - the original deal the OP posted, you can add Canada Wide for free. They increase the the discount when you go Cda Wide. So this makes it a little hotter.

Of course, we could be subject to website errors in the first few hours

This offering is too pricey compared to the 2016 fall promotion. If I recommended it to people, I would likely be questioned about my motives. As much as I love getting more referral credits, it is not worth the risk of alienation. Drop the price by $10 per month and I would say it is worth getting. BTW, the offering has gone live, it has been announced on the Public Mobile community forum.

I believe it's a bug with calculator. Can't pick this when actually trying to change the plan.

The no data option is $81 when you add 6GB it only adds $3 to the plan cost.

Can one still get this offer if existing customer?

Yeah, that's on "Our Plans" page only. When you try to actually pick that plan in "My Account" I am unable to get that price.

That would be a super hot deal, and I would actually switch from the $38 4 GB plan I'm on now, to a $26 2GB plan. But it sounds like it doesn't work, too good to be true.

If the price could drop down to $45, I'd love to switch to Public Mobile

This is an OK deal, better than almost all the other options in Ontario if you actually need 4 GB / month of data. If you can get by with 2 GB and 400 daytime minutes, Zoomer's plan is a much better deal, especially given you get a free phone on a 2 year contract.
