It showing up in peoples' accounts means that existing customers can get it now. As stated earlier, this offer is for new customers as well. This plan is/will be available in all provinces. There's no such thing as regional plans at Public Mobile.

Well, I cannot see it on the plans list, meaning its not for new customers :(

So its only for existing customers or something? Still not on the website. One thing to keep in mind, it says 40cents retrieval voicemail at chatr but chatr also has unlimited incoming minutes.
You're right: no unlimited incoming on this Public Mobile plan but no crappy voicemail retrieval fee either. Calling in to your voicemail will use minutes though.

So essentially, go with pm as a new customer. Pros: friend referral, cheaper with auto pay, no fee for vm retrieval (but pay airtime). Cons :no unlimited incoming, no throttled data.

I'm leaning towards chatr at this point.

Deciding if I should switch my 10$ line. I'm pretty happy with it, but the 15$ plan is hard to pass up. D:

The only reason I probably won't is that I don't even have enough referrals to cover my current 10$. Only have 6. But I have over 60$ in credits so I have some ways before it hits 0 balance.

It’s available if you go to change your plan. Just switched both my parents plan to the 15 dollar plan at next renewal.

Available to all. New customers will see this option during activation at the part where you pick your plan

Other than wanting a burner line, I can't see any demand for the $10 plan anymore, unless this one goes away, but that rarely happens

And what is great about PM, just go to their forum and bravo on the elite posters and you will get up to $20 off your bill per months..
That is if you got time for that...lol

LOL - it doesn't work like that. Only Oracles get $20
And you will not get much if anything by simply giving bravos.

That isn't quite how it works. A new member cannot get more than a $15 community reward. And, while people tend to sometimes return bravos, receiving them is still going to be based on the content posted. In addition, we don't quite know exactly what triggers the rewards, other than it being participation based. I can tell you that it is not completely based on bravos. If there are more people particiapating, this can somrtimes make earning payouts at each reward level more difficult because of increased competititon.

Until March 18, people who do an online self activation and who are also referred by an existing Public Mobile customer will receive a one-time $25 credit. The referrer will also receive $25.

No throttled data? I think the consensus is PM has quicker data, LTE Lite if you will. But we are talking 250MB here, not really a talking for either camp.

If you receive a lot of calls, then maybe I can see your point. But you can get a talk add-on for PM, 200mins for $8 that also lets you call USA, only 4c /min and does not expire. US calling with Chatr is 40c minute and you need to have funds in your account and it could use all of those funds if you are not careful.

If $2 more a month is worth it for incoming, then yes, Chatr would be better.
