Movie was crap...I actually thought the bad version starring the swedish guy that Rocky fought (he played the 'evil' russian boxer in Rocky IV) was even a better movie!

The Punisher was the best movie I ever saw. I plan on buying the DVD, and I'm not one of those guys who goes and buys DVD's either (or even sees a movie twice for that matter).

If that's true then it must be real bad cause the version with Dolph Lundgren wasn't good.

Let me say this about the movie (without giving anything away):

The movie is an extremely poor comic book brought to the big screen adaptation. No fan of the comic book series will enjoy this movie.

As a standalone movie, it might be considered a good mindless popcorn action movie.

I found this movie posted online, some people are distributing it now. It's a good movie, saw it for free at the premier.

just finished the movie on dvd... wow.. pretty dark but well worth the 2 hours. i'm even tempted to rent the 1989 version with Dulph now
