yea i thought about that, but you lose quality
apple -> aac -> cd -> mp3
music gets transcoded 3 times, with 2 losing quality_______________

i don't dl music as often as i did, but why would you want to buy music online? sure britney spears has to downgrade to a dc3 from a dc4 private jet, but i'm sure can deal with the lack of a remote control for the surround sound system.

As for allofmp3.com, I love that site. I love the fact that you can choose your encoding method, and that you pay per Mb not per song._______________

Look closer; actually it does, though through a roundabout route (Xrost cards) . . . oops, just saw your second post. Never mind.
