Geez, don't want to threadcrap as I know you want a PC but after today's announcement, a MacBook Pro seems like a healthy option

Q: Help me make a decision on which notebook I should get
I have narrow'd it down to Acer 5672 or ASUS V6J
both notebook is eq'd with DUO
ACER has more ram, faster and bigger hd also has a build-in webcam but a bit thicker
ASUS is thinner and looks more elegant.
they are both 15inch laptop with glossy screen. budget isnt a problem here as ACER is 1600+ about, ASUS is $2100+ about
Which laptop would you get?

Depends what you are gonna do with it really..
I have the V6va, and it's awesome, its so thin and light....
The ASUS W3j looks very good as well, x1600 in a 14" body. damn!_______________

There's a better discount with the student Developer ADC package or whatever. Plus you get the membership for a year.
It's ~$1940 for the 1.83Ghz Macbook with upgraded ram to 1GB + $100 for membership. Valid student confirmation is required however.
