Question about 360 /w Rock Band and Guitar Hero 2/3

I will be buying Rock Band soon and just want to make sure, do I get manufacturer warranty? It doesn't really matter cause I can probably just buy whatever breaks of ebay. Also what guitars will work on guitar hero 2, 3, and rock band? I know a rock band guitar wont work on guitar hero, so what kind will work on all of them? Also, do the drums come with sticks, if it doesn't(or comes with cheap ones), will real wooden ones work? Thanks

Bought it last week for PS2.

There is a 60 day hardware warranty from the manufacturer. If whatever wont work, you can't return it to the store, you have to go to support.ea.com/rockband to initiate warranty program.

My mic wouldnt work. They are sending a nuw one without asking for the defective one. For guitar/drums they would also send you a new one, charge your credit card until you send them back the defective one.

I *think* you are lucky by owning a 360 because GH guitar works with RB, only on xbox360. But make sure there isnt some details regarding this I am not aware before buying anything. I could be mistaken about this.

The drum comes with standard wooden sticks.

I think there will be standalone guitars for Rock Band available from april 1st, so we can play guit/bass together..

You do get a manufacturers warranty but not sure how long. Harmonix was great with replacing my first faulty guitar though.

The guitar hero guitars work on RB but not vice-versa (360 only).

The drums come with a decent pair of wooden sticks but you can always go to a music shop and buy nicer ones, any sticks will work.

there's also a 3rd party one coming out soon that can do both.
But yea, for 360, get a les paul or a strat from GH2 or GH3 if you want it to work for both. I suck with the Rock Band guitar so I use the Les Paul anyways for the expert songs.
