Question about a Computer Game problem.

My son wants to play The Incredible Machine, and this pops up - what does it mean, and how do we do it/fix it??

Try decreasing your colour depth. You don't say which version of the Incredible Machine... Just try dropping it one notch each time until the game runs. At worst, 256 colours should work.
Rock it.

Hmm, should definitely support bitmap transparency...

Does the error pop up the moment you try to launch the game? If you can access the video settings for the game, try switching between Software/OpenGL/Direct3D and see what happens.

If not, then I'm clueless; my 3-year old graphics card can do this...

Can you right click on the game location, left click on properties, then under the 'compatibility' tab, choose to run it in 'windows 98' mode? Some of our games have to have that to run on Windows XP. Those are older ones, mind you, not sure what kind of a game it is. Good luck!!!
