Question about GO and TTC

First I’m pretty sure this thread will get moved, I’m
Not sure which sub it belongs to..

Now, on to my question... I heard there is a new transfer rule for unlimited riding within 2 hours...
What I want to know is, if I start my trip using presto at a GO station, then I get on the ttc, is my TTC fare free or am I paying a reduced fee. If reduced fee, can you please tell me how much?

And same thing, if I start my trip with TTC first then get on the go...

If you get off the GO and hop on the TTC and vice versa, your TTC fare is $1.50. It seems to have to be a connecting station, one time I walked a few stations up from the GO station to run some errands and I didn't get the reduced fare, was a time difference of at most 15 mins.

the 2h transfer is for use on the TTC only.

Gotchu. So if I take ttc first, pay regular fare, I can travel as many times in any direction within the 2hr limit for free

I guess I forgot the important part, you must pay with a Prestocard.
