Question about Porting Rogers # to another Rogers Contract

Hey guys,

I am currently on a month to month basis with rogers and I would like to assume another Rogers contract.

What is the best way to go about this?

I would like to keep my number at all costs.

i think you can't
they don't do it cuz they said they can't do it

but the back office is able to do it. however you have to able to make them to do it for you...
and the oh canada plan is only good for 12 months when the person first sign it and than it will become $45 with wind tab plus...

the holiday miracle plan is for life or until wind cancel it and i been hearing ppl successfully get wind tab + with HMP
and i don't think you can port in the number too cuz the system are not offering the HMP anymore (expired), only the back office is able to do it but have to see how willing they will do it for you too
try to ask the question again in howard forums, and see what they reply, i been reading some post in the forum

ya so if oh canada plan 1 year is up, it will become $45/month plan and you decided to change plan after 1 years to cheaper monthly plan...and you are with the wind tab + (if the owner ever sign one up)
you need to pay off the remaining tab, which can be as much as 300 to 400 dollars depends on the original phone before you can change the plan

Same applies to ANY plan that is currently not being offered anymore.
You have to PUSH back office to do it and trust me, it is not easy which is why their "official policy" has been no port-ins after activations.

They will tell you that they can't do it. What you need to do is to make a Wind friend and get him to push the back office to do this.
