A Question about Resistance 2 Coop [PS3]
For any PS3 owner that purchased the retail version of Resistance 2 today, can someone verify something in the online cooperative play system for me?
When you go online coop with a buddy using the split-screen system, ie 2 player on one PS3 + 6 other online player for coop play, can the second player in the system login to his own profile so that the experience he gained can be saved?
I was in the Resistance 2 beta and they didn’t support the second player to have their own account logged in, it was quite boring for my brother as he played as the second player with me and he has to start at level one and don’t have any upgrades. This option is going to help me decide if I should get this game or not cause we always play together.
I appreciate if someone can verify for me on this issue. Thanks.

No. This was answered in an interview with the developers pre-release. Experience gained while in split screen will only apply to the player 1 account logged in.
