Not necessarily, you have to check the exact bolt pattern to make sure they match. Even if they do, tire size also needs to be checked to make sure they have enough clearance.

Question about Rims
Hi Guys!
This is probably a dumb question, but I had to try.
My brother wants to give me a brand new set of tires + rims for my Accent from his Golf.
His rims have 4 holes, so do mine. Will they fit?
He mentioned something that they might not, since it is coming from a Golf, to an Accent..but I think, if it has the same number of holes, it should fit right?
Thanks for the help!!

you can search on the net and find out the spacing for the bolts for both cars and then you will know for sure. Give me year, make and modules and I will try to find out or somebody here will!

What year is his Golf? The Hyundai Accent has a 4x100 pattern, and so do all Golf's pre-1999 (post-1999's use 5x100). Just need to know the year of yours and his car, but since you say it has 4 bolts in it, it looks like you're fine.

You should be ok regarding tire sizes... I checked on it and both of those cars use the same size tire, unless of course he was using the wrong size tire on his rims to begin with.
I don't think you're right about the Accent size being 4x114.3, cereal83... At least not for the year 2000.Last edited by Kaldonis; Apr 2nd, 2007 at 08:51 PM.

Hyundai Accent GL/GS/L 2000-up 4x100mm
VW Golf - 85-98 4x100mm ..... 99+ 5x100mm
In the end, the rims wont fit UNLESS its a golf 98 or older!

Thanks a million!
I think I am going to take my chances, and get them up here to me. Its time to change tires any way, or well, almost.
And hey, if they don't fit, you might see an add from me soon in BST!
Thanks again!

They will fit. Not sure where you got your 4x114.3 for the Accent but every site I'm checking is telling me 4x100. Since the Golf is a 95 and also 4x100 they will work fine... a quick check at any online tire store will also tell you that the two cars also use the same size tires.
You shouldn't have any problems.
