Question about shareable plans

Lets say I have a primary line with MB or SK shareable/family plan and i got like 15gb data. Can I add another line with an area code of a different province? would any of the service provider allow me to do that? or will I have to get a totally separate line for out of province number?

I haven't done it myself, but there was somebody in another thread recommending doing just that with Bell.

That was me. It works perfectly with bell.... I added 2 MB lines with 90gb each ($150 each when they had the MB promo on over month ago)

The two MB lines with data consist of:
2x$55 40gb (20+20gb promo)
2x$40 30gb (15+15gb promo)
2x$30 20gb (10+10gb promo)
2x$25 voice only

and the rest (11 lines) are shared lines with Ontario numbers and Ontario add a line options

(edit) I've included a screenshot from my bell.ca - I edited the image to take off my phone numbers

From what I understand Rogers doesn't allow MB and SK plans to be shared nationwide. Bell is the easiest one, Telus technically doesn't allow it, but there are ways around it

That is correct.

Jlmcneil posted his huge fiasco with Rogers:
I can confirm this with my own experience. Ive lived in Winnipeg for 10 years. About 3 years ago I added my mom to my MB share everything on Rogers. About 8 months later I added my dad, both NS numbers. One random day my mom tells me her service stopped working. I phone Rogers and they proceed to tell me that they weren't allowed on my plan since they were out of province. And reverted them to generic plans. It took tons of calls and emails. But they ended up honouring my price for only the Remainder of the contract. So I ported out to Bell. It was a huge fiasco.

You can do it in store, or over the phone, you should have no issues. I already had my lines active, I added the MB lines over the phone no questions asked.
