question about system specs and price
I'm thinking of buying the following for $450.00. Can anybody give me any feedback about this system? i.e. do you think it's any good, and is the price fair? I don't know much about computers, so anything you might have to say would be sincerely appreciated.
Thanks!

Depends what you want this for.? The hardware in there is old put top end at the time. There are systems with newer hardware for the same money.

pretty sh1tty if you ask me, unless the scsi setup is worth $200+
Remember, a new 250gb hdd is like $120 most places.

It's not worth it.
Just buy yourself a new cheap computer. That computer is just a collection all put together and is going to be dated quite quickly._______________

What everybody said: Don't buy it, even if it's cheaper than that. Old CSCI and small HD mean slow, small, noisy and incompatibility.
Buy at least an AMD 64 system with Sempron 64 bit or Venice CPU
or an Intel P4 with HT with newer HDs and DVD burners.
