As your muscle gets bigger, your tattoo will stretch as with the skin a certain amount. I've seen this happen, and it isn't pretty.

Question about Tattoos
Well my b-day is approaching, and I was planning on getting a tattoo. I want it on my deltoid, but my question is, will my tattoo ruin if I work out? Meaning if I get more muscular? I was thinking about it and I think it may effect the look of it.
Anyone have any experiences to share?

I would get a tattoo of your entire body, only more muscular.

unless you plan on getting significantly bigger than you are now (aka. from skinny to bodybuilder) you should be fine.
