The question is, why are you looking for a phone just to sell it?

Are they unlocked or locked to carrier?

Many factors will influence the re-sale value. I think the major factors are:
  1. physical condition of the housing and screen;
  2. accessories included;
  3. locked/unlocked;
  4. who did the "refreshing" or "certification";
  5. how long the phone and battery has been in use; and
  6. manufacturer warranty.
I do like the 2017 Samsung A5.

Gonna put my money on the iPhone 6 32 GB on Koodo if the promo's good. Never in my life did I think I'd be acquiring Apple phones, but now that the cost of carrier-unlocking is no longer an issue, I see these apples as a good pick for a quick sale on Kijiji. I think the demand for the SE is lower (smaller phone). Acquisition cost of iPhone 6s Is still too rich for my blood.
