Question - has anyone tried out these ASiD WIIMOTE Rechargeable Battery Packs?
I saw these tonight in FS and am just wondering if anyone has tried them out yet?

It reads on the package and on the site that full-charge is 6 Hrs...I am just wondering how many hours of use you'd get on a full-charge?
Here's the link....not bad for $30 if you don't need to charge all the time..

The capacity is listed at 600 mAh which means it probably has a couple crappy NiCd AA's inside. I have seen 1800 mAh packs on ebay which would be some crappy NiMh's.
A pair of decent NiMh AA's would be better if you ask me.

I think the manual said that regular batteries should last 60 hours which is quite long. I've only had to replace batteries once since buying my Wii about a month ago and those were the crappy batteries that they came with.

At 600mAH, you probably won't get to play that long (esp. with the vibrate function on) before you'd have to charge again (6 HOURS?!!!).
Get a decent pair of 2500 mAH's and you'll be rocking for a couple weeks (based on my own usage... an hour a day approximately). I'm using the Energizer E2 rechargeables with a 15-minute charger.
It rocks! Once batteries go dead, we take a break, have a drink and we're going again in about 15-20 minutes.
At $30, I think it's a ripoff.

I went and bought 48 AA batteries for $17 (including tax).
I think the brand was Nexxtech.
Here!!! http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Nexxt...oductDetail.do
I got it at CC as an impulse buy since it was on the walk to Loblaws.

You're better off with Eneloops simply because the drain when you're not playing will not be as significant as other rechargeables. Get enough batteries and you can always have a fresh set ready.
