Normally someone from your firm will lend you their robes.

If you are going to be going to court often, you might as well buy your own robes though.

I was/am a solicitor, so I never go to court. I borrowed robes from a co-worker who was my size.

Isn't harcourts $50-$100 for rentals? Come on and you're going for the bar!?

Or borrow from someone who is similar size to you. They are supposed to be somewhat fitted.

Law Society should have provided this to you. If you’re in Toronto, Harcourt and Imperial Robes are the main players. $500-$800 sounds like purchase price, not rental. Anyway, congratulations!
