Question regarding price scanning accuracy
I have a question regarding whether a particular situation is covered under the scanner code of accuracy (Quebec specifically).
Future Shop currently has Family Guy Volume 3 in their newest flyer for $34.99. However, in my local store the pricetags on this product either show $32.99 or $44.99 but not $34.99. In addition on the display for it only the $32.99 is displayed in a white tag below each of the shelves on the display. I'm quite sure that the product will ring up at $34.99 as in the flyer. If the scanner price matches the flyer but does not match what is actually displayed on the product or the display what policy applies? If I took one of the sets with a $32.99 sticker on it to the checkout would I be eligible for $10 off considering the discrepancy and if so would it be $32.99-$10.00 or $34.99-$10.00? I was in store earlier and thought about trying to claim this at the cash but didn't want to try it until I was better informed. I'm passing by again tomorrow so I may just try it then.
