QUESTION -- What is Nano "French" version
I noticed the ipod Nano comes in an English and "French" version.
What exactly is this "French" version?
Is there a difference in the Nano itself between the two versions. Or is it just the manual/instructions that are different?
Example :
Apple 4GB iPod Nano - French

Thanks.

Really? How would you switch it to English?
The store I want to get it from only has the French version, do you think it's worth getting?
Thanks.

Is that the only thing that makes it different from the 'English' ipod?

why is there always someone that mentions poutine everytime we speak of french or quebec??!! like Quebec is only known for poutine...nothing else. We suck but we have poutine, right?
sorry...needed to vent...this whole poutine thing is my biggest pet peeve!
back on topic, I doubt that you can change language, why would a company change the sku and put a different packaging if you could simply switch the language. I think language is locked.

I would be VERY surprised if you can't change the language. All ipods can be set to many different languages because it supports unicode. Maybe the "Reset all settings" option, which is always in English, will reset the menus to French and it will say something like "Remettez ???" instead.

If anything, it would be "Retablir les parametres originaux"

Actually, I'd say Quebec and Canada's french have a lot to offer. That said, I'd love to get a GOOD poutine. I used to live in Ottawa and I'd get a poutine from the chip trucks. No such luck in Toronto.
