Long rant, just need to vent
All I can say is my friend is a complete idiot and I consider him not a friend anymore (not just because of this).
So I have a friend who is one of those people who are idiots when they drink that no one likes. He mouths off to people and says things that get other people into crap (almost happened last night). So while with some good friends of mine during the day and my gf we all decided to have our usual Friday night get together in the backyard at night for a few drinks and just talk.
About 8 hours before this this 'friend' of mine texts me and says "would your gf not let you go out with friends on your anniversary?"
I replied "man it's your 2 year anniversary why would you want to hang out with friends and drink, go out for dinner and a movie and stay in or something". He basically called me a woman but come on, really?
So our friends are in the back and I said (8 hours prior) that I hope to god this guy doesn't show up cause he's loud and stuff to the point where we have to relocate to the garage.
We were all just sitting in the back at about 10pm and out of nowhere he walks in the back. We all tried to ignore and not talk to him for awhile hoping he would leave and my buddy (not this guy) just says "dude you called that so perfectly". Idiot didn't get it.
Eventually we relocate to the garage and although we don't really like his gf that much, she started going on about how he has nothing to show for anything and how his mom has to give him money for everything cause he can't hold a job. Imagine our expressions trying to stay out of that argument.
This girl doesn't have her G2 at the age of 25 for the reason that she has no reason to drive and doesn't care but has started driving school. I have no judgement towards that in any way cause that's her choice. Then the idiot (who drinks and drives all the time and has been caught before) after 6 beers who's gf keeps telling him to stop drinking says "see if you had your g2 you could drive me home and this could all be avoided". Now I don't really like the guys gf but at the same time I had to defend her and said "man, you shouldn't be driving in the first place if your drinking and second it's your moms car, your 26 wtf"
He goes on and says "you only have your license because that's just what men do they want to drive".
I expected the girls to start getting pissed off at that and I think they did. I replied to that comment saying "no I got my license so I could have the freedom of going where I want when I want and get to work without relying on someone for a drive, that's why one gets a license if they can afford it and you can't even pay insurance your mom pays it. An argument after that ensued and it was basically his gf and I just destroying him verbally and everyone else listening. Once again, everything we were saying was 100% true and he couldn't see that through his idiotic defenses that made no sense.
I said k if your going to act like an ***** then you can leave. I turned to my gf and a few other friends and continued talking to them trying to ignore him (as we all did).
Eventually he started becoming an ***** again and a friends brother who I barely know tells the guy to go home after arguing about it for like 20minutes. At least the arguing between the idiot and his gf was entertaining because everything she was saying was so true and we all knew it.

Solution 1: Don't have late parties
Solution 2: Have party without alcohol
Solution 3: Have party at his house every-time
Solution 4: Get everyone to unfriend him.
Hope you find your solution dude

As an update. Not my gf but a girl I know (best friend I'd say) are devising a plan. No ones going to know what it is in our group until afterwards. But let's just say he definitely will not be driving for a very long time.

He doesn't sound much like a friend. Have you thought about your own personal liability should this joker leave your house and get into an accident as he's heading home?

Lol...
It always amuses me that women (exemplafied in this case) stick with idiots. The guy has been caught drinking and driving, cant hold a job, uses his moms car, yet the GF is still with him?
Women...

I've would've told him to get the ***** out and just about before he left I would've called the cops and reported a drunk driver.
