Rant: People who call non-stop and never leave messages, argh!!!

This is one of my biggest pet peeves and it drives me nuts - people who call and when nobody answers, not only do they refuse do leave a damn message but they will keep calling over and over and over and over and over again!!! :mad: :rolleyes: I mean seriously what the hell?!

My grandma and my dad are the worst when it comes to this. They will call, and if nobody answers they ALWAYS let the answering machine run every single time, say absolutely nothing, then call again right after or 5 mins tops! So not only are they wasting space on my mailbox, but when I check my messages I have to sit there and listen and go through all their blank hangups and erase them all. They do this until my mailbox is completely full. Then when they finally do get ahold of me, or whomever they are wanting to speak to...they give me shat because my answering machine is full. WTF? Oh gee I wonder why that is. :rolleyes:

I always come home and look over my call display and if I see one of these two people that called...they would have called 10, 15, 20 times! One time my grandma called 47 times in one night. Seriously grandma wtf? Do you wanna get shot or something? Because youre sure asking for a bullet through your head. :rolleyes: I know thats mean, but after what she did to her own daughter (saying she will no longer be a mother to her because the man she married is black), I HAVE LOST ALL RESPECT FOR HER!!! I HAVE LOST ALL RESPECT FOR HER!!!!! Long story, but I dont tolerate racists at all, nor should anyone have to!!! :mad: :mad: :mad:

nice...............the best way to prevent this is to leave a very stern voicemail greeting.

Start off by screaming and then swearing like:

"WHAT DA FAK DO YOU WANT? NO WAY YOU ARE LEAVING A FAKING MESSAGE.........YOU MOTHAFAKER!!!!

and then scream some more at the top of your lungs until the greeting ends.

Viola, no more blank messages on your VM........

wah, okay. tell them your gonna have a new phone number because they are destroying your phone line or you can perhaps get a new cellphone number and get them to call you off there instead of jamming your voice machine. because with cellphones, you can find out which person calls you like 10 times or missed calls or whatsoever.

EDIT: After actually reading the whole post thoroughly, I want to be clear I am talking about calling and not leaving messages.
