Ranting against police in school zones
so i live by a elementary school.. and today(2nd day of back to school) im driving home from college and i have to drive past the elementary school (i live like 1/2 a block from the school) anyways.. they have a serious amount of police force 2 motorcycle cops sitting about a block apart.. anyways as per usual the streets are jam packed with minivans... it doesnt help that the cop is taking up a whole god damn lane of the street with his god damn motorcycle screwing up the street even more so than it is.. but there is a stop sign at the corner the guy infront of me stops i stop behind him (now i havent broken the law speedwise or no stopping zone etc).. i try to turn on my signal to make a right turn but my wheel is turned in such a way that it keeps turning off so i flick it a couple times.. next thing i know the god damn police are asking me to pull the hell over.. well.. next to me is a minivan and than the curb so i tell him ill pull over around the corner seeing as the street is screwed because your damn motorcycle is blocking the other damn lane.. and hes like no just pull over right here (i think to myself.. err illegally but do it anyways lets just mess up the street a little more.. and if i get rear ended well im gonna make a huge deal about this damn cop) cop asks me for my ID and starts grilling me (i only have my class 7 licence aka N licence). "Do you have your N on the back of your car." etc..
i guess im just ranting because its bull that this god damn officer singles me out of like a pile of cars because i flick my signal 2 times... and he was rude as hell to me treating me like a 2nd class citizen just because im asian and young. Yes, i was driving without a shirt BIG DEAL! lots of guys drive without their shirts on.. my car doesnt have A/C and it was a god damn hot day...
o well damn cops how bout trying to catch a criminal once in a while
EDIT**
o yea the cops were there to enforce a ******** no parking/stopping sign tat makes no sense.. there is little gravel section that SHOULD be used for pickup/dropoff but who the hell knows why its labeled as a no stopping/parking 8am-5pm HMMM lets make the elementary kids cross a busy street so they can meet their parents on the other side!! GOOD CALL CITY OF VANCOUVER thats a smart one.. im sure these kindergardeners can figure out on their own when to cross the bloody street...

It's about time police started polcing school zones. I don't necessarily agree with what they did to you. But they need to enfore the no stopping and no parking signs when kids are arriving in the morning and leaving in the afternoon. It's a safety issue for the kids and other non car drivers. School zones are congested enough as it is, they don't need cars stopping and letting kids in/out right in front of the school.
I have seen way too many close calls because of parents only thinking of their precious children with complete disregard for other people and their children.
Parents should park on a side street or a couple hundred feet away and walk with your kids for the last 200 ft. - parents and kids might even get some exercise this way._______________
Boycott the Canadian Tire located at 403 & Dundas for it's clueless automotive department, poor service and lack of commonly stocked items.

Yes, if there's anywhere that I would condone those damn speed traps it would be in school zone. Far too many kids running around.

Not saying what happened was cool, but driving without a shirt is pretty redneck isn't it?

Op you have a huge chip on your shoulder. Better lighten up your attitude or you can expect to have lots more so-called incidents to rant about in the future.

Driving is a privilege, not a right. The police can demand your licence, ownership, and insurance certificates at any time. Don't like it? Don't drive a vehicle.
