[Real Canadian Superstore] RCSS: Kashi Go Lean Crunch 1KG box for $7.99

One of the best tasting and healthiest cereals Kashi Go Clean Crunch is on sale for $7.99 at Superstore. Regular Price is around $11.62 from what I remember so this is a great price for the 1Kg box. Small boxes are on sale for $3.99

Based on the pic you posted:
If those small boxes you didn't care about too much were actually less than $3.40 for 425g then it's makes them a better deal... Which is really the whole point, to SAVE!

Might even be better to buy the smaller box if you don't eat it daily = less chances of wasted/stall food = $ saved.

The small boxes usually go on sale for $3.99. The 1 kg box has two separate bags in it so it isn't much different than the smaller boxes.

Costco (at least Costco East) has the 1 kg box for $5.99. I bought 2 last week. So this is not a hot deal. They just got them back in stock and it wasn't a limited time deal, that is the current price. Of course, at Costco, you never know how long things will last. All the cereal I eat keeps disappearing.

I like this cereal, but it gives everyone in my family MAJOR gas. This can either be a good or bad thing depending on your point of view.

My local Costco doesn't carry kashi brand at all. And yup 3.99 for small boxes.

I'll second this. Everyone I know that has tried this cereal loves it, but gets terrible gas all day long after eating it.

Well saying "Kashi" could become a common phrase to say after one farts, like saying "Gesundheit" after someone sneezes.

I'm pretty sure the regular price (in Winnipeg at least) is $8.79.

Am I the only one on here that's been paying nearly $12 for a 1kg box for these?

I thought it was just me.
Same amount of fiber as most other cereals I eat, but only this one gets me farty. I wonder what it is...

Pretty sure it's the extra protein. As someone said earlier, protein shakes tend to do the same thing.

Didn't Kashi get put under the spotlight recently for using GMO's in their cereal? I recall some anti-Kashi groups slamming them pretty hard. Their bars too.

Just because it has "Lean" in the name does not make it a "healthy" product. It is much, much better than traditional sugared cereals yes, but do not expect it to start melting inches of your waist by eating a bowl of it a day.
