Saw this in Edmonton this afternoon, so looks like chain-wide, in the West anyway. Was 40S4100. I'm not sure if they even make 42" S4100s?

Especially hot deal on tax-free night (Thurs-Fri I think).

I don't think the S comes in a 42". Only the V does. Not that hot on the 42" S though. Especially when there are 42" Sanyos and 50" Maxents and other no name brands at much cheaper. You can write Sony and Bravia on those and you'll have basically the same thing.

Edit: There's no 32" S either, I think you mean the L?

can't really find too many expert reviews of this panel but the fs and amazon cust reviews were all pretty much positive... is this panel garbage relative to the price i may be able to get it at?

ohh gotcha. yeah that would still be a pretty good deal for a secondary
40" but i need to try and get fs to pm and give me the 10% off today because i have some fs gift cards i'd like to get rid of

Picked one of these up last night as a replacement for a Panasonic 32' which got moved to the bedroom. Good b/c of 3 HDMI for me, can get rid of my monoprice switcher.

Not too bad of a deal for a 40" 1080p S Series. V Series is way nicer, but for my uses it's great. Also a better deal if you collect PC Points, I used 140.00 worth

Anyone know why they only took off 30.00 for each of the taxes? Is there a limit to the no tax event?

My friend got this deal tonight at the Weston/401 store. He told me he got it for $850, no tax.

@benji, we calculated this earlier. you will be ahead by $100 if you get this from RCSS even the FS PM because of the no tax deal tonight until tomorrow.

It is not a better deal than RCSS. The price at superstore is $599.99 but with 2xgst, it comes to $540. The Visions price with gst comes to $575.40
A price difference of $35.40
