I couldn't agree more. I basically have everything I needed and I just don't want to force myself to buy more stuff.

The theme was exactly the same for the past five years they were Big tv, faster computers,Xbox PS4 maybe PS3 and Xbox 360...

Pretty much why I still have my iPhone 6 and have no desire to upgrade. $1200 could be better spent on a car...or wedding stuff...sigh.
Congratz!!!
hmm... wonder if there are any black friday sale for wedding stuff? =/

Was just as Supercenter at Mavis and Dundas. They still had 1 55 RCA (at the service desk) left and a few of the Hisense and Sony Bravia's. Keurig was reduced to $49 I guess to match Walmart's deal. Store is open until 11. They also have two Kitchen Aid heavy duty mixer left (Wedding gift). Don't know what the price is as it's not showing on the flyer and there was no price on the floor.

Coquitlam (Vancouver…
I picked up one of the 32" RCA TVs this afternoon for $109 at about 4pm - there was still an entire pallet of them left at the Coquitlam Superstore.
I'm actually quite shocked at how good it is for the price. Yes, it's 720p, and yes, it's D-LED rather than edgelit, so it's quite thick for an LCD TV.

With that said, the screen is fantastic looking, blacks are deep, has superb viewing angles (178/178 degrees - it's either an IPS or VA panel, not TN!), and the contrast is very good too.

The one thing that surprised me more than anything else are the speakers - most budget TVs have absolutely awful speakers built in, but because this one is so thick, it has a couple of downward firing 1"x2" oval speakers and they're easily better than the built in speakers on my 2012-era 50" LG Plasma. Not much bass to be had, but they sound much better than they have any right to, and aren't tinny / rattly in the slightest.

Question about the 60" Sony TV KDL60W630B for $899. That TV has been around for over 2 years, does Sony still make it? It gets good reviews, but is the design still worth paying $899 for?

I am looking for a 60" or 65", would consider a good 1080P-only TV like that Sony. 4K would be nice but I doubt it will be more than a novelty for the next few years due to scarcity of 4K media.

None that I could see. They had XBox One's for $280ish (no tax) but not PS4 AFAIK. No PS4 stuff in general either.

Yeah, that's what I suspected after two superstores. Visions does have the 43" hisense for the same price but tax and no GC.

Yeah.. I wanted the Hisense as well.. great deal with the no tax and GC.. plus I had a 20% points offer.. would have earned $80 in points. :(
