[Real Canadian Superstore] [RCSS] Haier UHD 4K TV 43"/49"/55"/65" $298/$388/$468/$748

Haier 43UF2500 $298 + EHF
Haier 55E5500 $468 + EHF (Compare the RCA @ $430 no tax event)

Price effective till June 28th, with no tax on Saturday (June 24th), returns are easy but only for 14 days, exchanges for 30 days.

And from the last no tax event couple of weeks ago (any remaining stock will be on sale at the same price):
Haier 49UF2500 $388 + EHF (Compare the RCA @ $350 no tax event)
Haier 65UF2505 $748 + EHF (Compare the RCA @ $688 no tax event)

Current Pricing:
- For non Costco members the 55" is available for $510 + taxes shipped and the 65" for $830 + taxes shipped.
- For Costco members: the 49" is $400 + taxes + EHF in store, the 55" $499 + taxes + EHF in store, the 65" $750 + taxes + EHF in store

What panels are inside these sets ?
For the 49" LSC490FN (SPVA, simulated 10 bit, made by Samsung).
2016 55" HV550QUB (IPS, simulated 10 bit, made by BOE).
2017 55" LSC550FN18 (SPVA, simulated 10 bit, made by Samsung).
For the 65" LSC650FN08 (SPVA, simulated 10 bit, made by Samsung).

Is there some specific S/N to track ?
The manufacturing date is "encoded" as part of the serial stickered on the box. the Serial number ends with "YM-DNNNN (Year-Month-Date-ID)", each single digit goes from 1-9 then A-Z (10-35), Days going past 30/31 falls into the following month.

Yellow issue is not applicable to 65".
For the 55" serials ending with "GA-?????" or later should be fine.
Edit: seems 49" got the yellow issue as well, avoid "GA" and see if "GB" is available.

Any calibration settings ?

Nope its the very same (hardware wise, firmware differ slightly), but you get the 1st year warranty from Haier, which does offer in-house repair for big TVs vs RCA that states you are responsible for transporting the TV to their service center.

Little confused. So this was $350 last time (for Costco members). But this weekend it's $388 and no-tax!?

Least it has been was $350 + EHF + taxes in Costco stores (membership required).
It will be $388 + EHF (no taxes) at RCSS this Saturday.

Looking at this 49" Haier or the 50" Vizio D50u-D1 from Costco (for $640). Any recommendations?
Nobody ever upvote me again. I have 600 upvotes and that is the PERFECT number. Don't hit that button. I know it's tempting given my high quality posts on RedFlagDeals.com, the best page on the Internet since 1998 - but please don't hit that button.

The local flyers are already on couponing apps, check them, its usually not nationwide yet not just exclusive to ON.

Anyone know which stores in Markham or Scarborough carry electronics? I don't remember seeing an electronics section in the Brimley superstore.

Most RCSS locations no longer have electronics depts. Electronics featured in the flyers are stocked regardless.

How does the quality compare to the 6-series Samsung 4K TVs? I'm not very tech-savvy so I assume they are similar since they're both made by Samsung?
