Rebates you forgot to mail?
So I just remembered to mail my Sonata III $20 rebate. Turns out it had to be post marked Jan 9/08. It totally slipped my mind. First time ever I didn't mail and get my rebate.
Anybody else? Any big ones?

It almost happened to us with the gps we bought Boxing Day. All of a sudden hubby asked about it yesterday. A quick check and it says it needs to be postmarked by the 10th. I could have sworn it was the 15th. Oh well, I got everything together and off it went last night. My only beef is that it had to be mailed to the US.

I had a $10 or $20 rebate on MX510 I bought from Stooples a few years back. It's not that I forgot to mail it... it's that I was procrastinating too much and when I finally decided to mail it, it was too late.

Only forgot one rebate I think which was for a Linksys router from Staples. Too bad, Staples has a good track record for rebates.

My VX revolution works fine. My other wireless mice including MX610 had these problems though. I notice these wireless mice problems happen more often when it's low on battery.

Gosh...off the top of my head I can remember a bunch of mail-in-rebates that I forgot to send in. Two $75 account credits when I first bought my Rogers cellphones; a $20 rebate from Grand & Toy from a Brother P-Touch label maker; a $60 free garage door opener keypad from Sears; a $100 rebate from when my girlfriend bought her laptop 4 years ago from Business Depot.
Damn OP, you're making me sad here...I was young and lazy back then and didn't really realize the value of rebates.
Anyways OP I'd still send in the rebate form that was supposed to be postmarked Jan. 9 - you never know, they may still accept it...

For the rogers one you can call in and tell them you mailed it in but nothing has shown up on your bill yet. rogers would then say they didnt recieve it. then say you did send it. the csr would then give you a credit for it. =)

I've been with Rogers for nearly 10 years. The rebate was from 5 or 6 years ago when I did a hardware upgrade and paid $150 for 2 new phones and then had to mail in a form that would have given me a $150 credit on my account. I really don't think Rogers will go back 5 or 6 years to give me a $150 credit.
