Receiving threats over the phone. Some help?

Guy called me about 20 minutes ago (10:30) and woke me up from an amazing nap. Because I have class early in the morning I responded a little rude saying to piss off and to not call so late normal people have work/class in the morning. The guy proceeds to call non stop in private (after he left his number) and just breathing in to the phone. I decided to rebuttal and call back on my cellphone in private. Turns out he did a reverse look up and now knows ROUGHLY where I live (doesn't have the unit) and is threatening me. I honestly don't want to involve the police but was wondering if I could have some information as to who this may be so I could have some "leverage" if he does try anything or I can let him know I know just as much as I do about him.

Oh this all had to do with one of my older posts about buying something. The guy's phone number is 416 666 5566. Some basic google research skills has brought to light that this fellow may be "Lance" from Brampton on a rogers carrier. Not sure if this is true and wondering if there is anyway to verify this http://www.handycanadian.com/local/contractor/34333. Thanks.

call the local police (non-emergency line) and file for harassment/threats

You should have just ignored his phone calls and turn the ringer off/ and on silent mode and let your answering machine picked up his message...

some ppl are idiots OP and ignoring and not paying attention to morons like him, is the best way to handle that kind of situation.

just as the other poster said, if he continues his harassment, call the police... or you can message the poster who always finds ppl in here( forgot his username, jag, jac something)

and post updates too. we love to read......

I just finished reading the "other"thread as well I don't think the caller is harassing you I think he would just like his money back. Saying you are being harassed is not a excuse for ignoring someone who you have scammed this really isn't going to help you credability much
