bought this game two days ago for xbox.
it is definitely made for a console. PC users will likely want to use an xbox/ps3 controller to play.
That being said, it's a great game. Solid gameplay, fun atmosphere and a crapton of stuff to do in-game.
Very Fable-esque, but with much better combat.
Buy it.

I'm really frustrated with this game. Just hit the level where you take the fight to the tuatha and it's like the game just spiked its difficultly. I rolled through all the previous levels and this one I am just getting hammered on, did i miss something??

Good action RPG with all the pros and cons of the genre. It is somewhat like Fable but the story line in Fable was much more interesting then what you find here. The combat is excellent though for an RPG, much more fun then Skyrim's combat system. I'm playing on a PC with the 360 controller, works well. Only downside to the PC version IMHO is the requirement for Origin, I miss the days when you could just install the game without a registering/signing in.

i was really meh during the demo. i hated it actually. I felt let down after anticipating the game. But I sucked it up and gave it a proper try, the full game is much better. that was a bad bad demo
so, really digging the game. i've played about 20 hours so far and still am around the starting area. if you get into the lore the game is elevated.
my cons so far
-way too easy even on hard. hoping like totheh8ters mentions it ramps up
-really wishing there was a paper doll, the inventory management is just silly and I want to see my stats at a glance.
-no lore, codex or library repository...wtf? way big oversight in a game with a 10,000 year history. but meh i went old school and play with a notepad open
-fov needs to push out just a hair more. gotten used to it the way it is but it needs a bit more. patch it proper please.
minor cons
-it doesn't feel like a very lived in world like skyrim is for example, but it's just a minor beef i'll live
-having to spend all skill points to level up, can't save any if you are unsure what to buy or you can't level anything
pros
-graphics. on pc very pretty for an rpg, using an fxaa injector it's stunning
-gameplay is very fun for an rpg
-the map system, love it
-the trash system, everyone copy the snot out of it
-the lore
-the learning curve feels just about right. for a game so huge in scope nothing smacks you in the face out of the gate, there is a good progression to get comfy

There was an error syncing cloud saves, so it took casual game and spiked it to hardcore....no sure why an EA cloud error would do that, but it did.
The whole point of the game is you are not bound to your choices, you can just pay a tiny bit of cash and get all your choices and stats reset.
I finished the game last night, I liked it, not sure I'll bother picking it up and playing agian, but it was worth the 30 bucks I paid.
