If you returned the product you lost the right to use the license. And how did you manage to return a software product that was clearly open and used?
Something doesn't sound right here.

Reclaiming a MS Office Licence
So i bought a new pc a few weeks back along with office.
I installed it on this machine and activated the product. However, the product wasn't up to snuff and i returned it.
Because i'm not using that machine, I want to reclaim my licence, how do I go about doing that???
Please help._______________

I hope you were smart enough to uninstall Office before you returned the machine. If so then you shouldn't have a problem re-using that serial on another machine.
Re: Office 2007. Yeah, I tried 2007 for a few days and really, really couldn't stand it either. I wanted my old toolbar back. And I got it by dumping 2007 and going back to Office 2003. Life is good again!

You think?
If you returned the software how can you claim or reclaim it?
Also note you bought the machine along with it. So the software belongs to
that machine. That's why MS sells the software so cheap to those companies.
Microsoft has new policy even for Vista retail for transfer to new machine.
All this to avoid piracy
I have MS office bought separately is able to install it on other PCs.
I assume you have similar one.
With given info I can see the Monkey Business here. I may be wrong.
Since you say you have original software try installing it. if problem call tech support.

The OP demonstrated bad English in the first post. He returned the computer, not the software. He wants to now install the still owned software onto a different computer, having returned the computer that he originally installed the software on.
