Recommend a hackable GPS?

I purchased a Mio C310x about 3 years ago and it was the best money I've ever spent, I still use it to this very day. Because it was hackable, the options of being able to download customizable skins and maps was invaluable.
I would like to purchase a GPS as a gift for my family and was wondering which one is the best value on the market now?

Curtis GPS GPD359 for $50 at CT is hackable. I believe some Canadian Tire are getting more stock. The deal is in the Expired Deal section but call around to see if they still have any.
