Have you tried your backup discs on different machines ?
I would suspect the burner ... But in case you want to test some good media, give Verbatim a try. They go on sales quite often.

Recommend me a good DVD media.
When I backup my DVD movies I use dvd srink and Nero to burn with Lite-On 1383s burner at 4x (slowest).
I am yet to find a -dvd media where I would burn the movie onto and it would not skip or stop.
What kind of media would you guys recomenned I use? Or maybe its the burner thats the problem here?
thanx
