Recommend a Monitor plz

Staples has a 7-day monitor event that ends on May 13th. I have a Ryzen 5 1600 with a GTX 1060 3Gb and do about 50% of playing FPS games like Fortnite and CS:GO and other 50% for browsing, youtube, word documents and a bit of Photoshop and Illustrator. I have an old Dell Ultrasharp 23" IPS U2312HM and it's nice but seems a little small(could be because of my vision). I just wanted to ask the people on here that know more about different monitors than I do. What would be the best bang for buck 24" or 27" or 28" monitor for my set up. I don't want to pay $800 - $1500 for a gaming gsync monitor. My budget is around $300 - $400.

Can you re-arrange the following from 1 to 10, 1 being most important.
1. 100% sRGB coverage
2. Response time
3. Input lag
4. Wall-mountable
5. GSync-capable
6. FHD
7. QHD
8. Low power consumption
9. High refresh rate (higher than 75Hz)
10. Under $400 before tax.

I wish I could put these in order but I don't know much about the technology to know what is best. That is why I mentioned my setup and what I use the monitor for. So from a real noob point of view my list would look like this.

1. Under $400 before tax.
2. Response time
3. High refresh rate (higher than 75Hz)
4. Input lag
5. GSync-capable
6. QHD
7. FHD
8. 100% sRGB coverage
9. Wall-mountable
10. Low power consumption

Thanks for all the information. Is there any 27" monitors worth looking at or I'm better off with 24"?

If you're talking about deals and such, then yea, that is a better deal. 27" @ 1080p is way better then 24" @ 1080p ... at least for me anyways. So much easier on the eyes. Bigger screen and easier to read text. Also this is a VA panel vs a TN panel on the ASUS model. So VA > TN Panel.

If you're not sure about panel types Google Linus and different monitor panel types, costs and what they mean. I will give you the breakdown. But it goes like this IPS/PLS > VA > TN

Double check on that model though as its not a typo. I know in the past (few years back) VA panels were typically stuck at 60Hz, but this one says it can do 144Hz, for VA if they improved the tech to get it that high, then I'm impressed. But check it out.

Also, VA panels generally have better black levels.

Also, a better example then the Staples ones, cheaper ... but it tops out at 75Hz. (If that's not a problem)

I'm only sitting about 2 feet away from the screen. 30-34" is overkill. I think I'll be okay with a 1080p 144Hz 24" or 27", just need to find a good deal on it.

Would this HP 27B for $280 be a good deal?

No, because it has 5 MS response time for a VA panel (crap) and only 75HZ. You would be better off getting this LG IPS Panel 1MS anti-ghosting and 75HZ from Canada Computers instead. Cheaper and better quality panel. Thumbs down on that HP. Yuck.

Also for $30 more, that MSI gaming VA panel does 1MS as well at 144HZ ... why not spend the extra $30 and get that better MSI panel you posted?

Way better then that HP
