I don't know much about battery so I did my research before going in. This battery has a built in thermostat and since it's located in the trunk, it needs to be vented. The only other battery people recommended is the optima yellow top but the fit is a bit different from the oem one and it doesn't have a thermostat and I wouldn't know how to do a diy anyway. But if one opts to get the oem one, then it's around $531+tax+labour which is very expensive....
The battery does not have a built in thermostat lol. Anyways you do require a vented one and you may purchase any battery and vent it yourself by using 3/8 inch clear tubing. Save yourself $350 to $400. Toyota has battery sales reps that go from dealer to dealer to push battery sales so I would take their advice with a grain of salt.

Oh no! So any 12V battery will do?? Is that what you did with your camry hybrid? I wish I knew this earlier. But either way, I wouldn't know how to do it and won't be confident enough to do it.

Thanks everyone for your input.

After researching and giving it a thought based on inputs from here and online. I am ending up on the following.

1. Hyundai Sonata
2. Toyota Camry
3. Honda Accord

My major consideration points would be
1. Insurance
2. Reliable and Economical (Maintenance)
3. Gas/Fuel economy

As l mentioned l need this car for 3 to 5 years max.

Can anyone tell me how the following one looks like - is it worth it and reasonable?

Hyundai
