Recommendations for a contractor to fix roof?

Recently got a new place and noticed a month later a soft spot on our rooftop patio.

Looks like the membrane that covers the rooftop had holes poked through it, resulting in water leaking in and damaging the wood underneath it.

Anyone know of a good contractor to repair the problem? (size of membrane replacement is about 4ft x 4ft). I was quoted $550. Is that normal?

I have someone I can recommend, however he'll probably tell you to just fix it with some caulking and then when it comes time to replace the roof the membrane will be replaced.

Otherwise, yes, probably a $500 minimum.
