Can you explain more about what you want? Usually people put a PAD on an existing payment. You seem to be wanting to pay for something and haven't yet figured out what you want to pay for. If that's the case, plenty of charities will take your money on a monthly PAD.
18% = GTA residents as a proportion of Canada's total population
97% = chance that an RFDer lives in the GTA when he posts something location specific, without giving a location

Were you hit with surprise customs/import fees on an Amazon.ca purchase?

Here are your super easy solutions...
  1. PayTM. Nothing is easier. Link big bank chequing account (you can remove it later). Add your bill payees (since funding source would be a bank account, you could even pay credit cards). Book some bill pays and loot
  2. CTFS on AmEx. This now requires you to have one or more cards with either issuer (unlike PayTM). You can setup one time PAD pulls at either, recurring can setup online for CTFS, and AmEx can setup recurring via fax form (like most CC issuers)

Aside those options, prepare to jump through more hoops (more time and efforts) to churn big bank chequing accounts.

If you simply need a PAD, you can always do a bit of good in the world and make monthly donations to a charity. The fantastic Nature Conservancy, for example, takes monthly donations via pre-authorized debit.

That's a great idea, but probably not OP's intention who's in it for big bank chequing account churning.

I am using Amex for PAD from TD CT account.

If you have outstanding balance on your Amex then you can do one time PAD 3 days after adding bank account to Amex CC online.
For recurring PADs you have to wait 28-30 days after adding bank account.

Makes sense. I think most of us would do it manually, but AmEx-side (still PAD pull).
