Recycling old electronics conveniently?
Looking to dump a bunch of old electronics: walkmans, old headphones, serial mouses, old gamepads, useless serial & parallel connectors and the such.
is there a easy way to get these things recycled? Or is it into the garbage we go? I know I can dump my old cell phones at like a Bell or something, but dunno what to do with that stuff mentioned above.
I live in Vancouver btw.

Call City Hall and find out, most places take those things for free. Batteries and stuff.

Ebay it as long as you don't loose money on it. I've been ebaying a bunch of crap I have since I feel guilty about sending it to the dump. I feel it is worth the trouble of shipping, payment, etc as long a someone else will use it even if I only make a dollar or 2 on it.

will people seriously buy some of my junk on ebay?
I mean, we're talking useless technology. 3.5" floppies, Gravis Gamepad, things that use serial and parallel connectors, and of course, walkmans. plus a bunch of AC adapators that I have no idea what their intended use was for.
heh, maybe my old Netscape Naviagator disks are sellable.

You'd be suprised what you can get a buck or two for. Do some searches and find out. Gamepads and walkmans may fetch a couple bucks. I've sold really old vid cards, cpu's (100mhz-133mhz) etc. Someone may have a use for them.
