Red Charcoal @ Bay & Dundas, Toronto ~ Don't bother
Anyone ever try this place? At first glance, it seemed to be good based on the high rating here: http://www.dine.to/redcharcoal
But I was a bit skeptical that it would have so many votes with no reviews on any restaurant review site. Anyone here have something to say about this place? I may try it out this week.

Newbie
Their burgers are fantastic - big and juicy. You also get a heaping amount of fries with your order! I've also heard the pizza is good, but haven't tried it yet myself. Avoid the pasta. As a side note, service is always friendly.

I give this place a 10/10.
Absolutely FANTASTIC...
Okay well I was staying in a downtown hotel for a couple days in the summer time and this place was the first place we ordered from. I got a mac n cheese burger (YES! you heard that correct; pictures will follow). It was super juicy and amazing flavour. Their burger selection is pretty crazy, some of which I wouldn't dare try.
Than we got the salads and I have to say their pasta salad is by far the best in the city. I think it was around 5-8 bucks and was enough for a meal in itself. It shocked my by the size actually, especially for a restaurant delivery.
Here are some pictures...the OJ was purchased by the hotel (Cambridge Suites has a cool grocery program)...

Definately will be ordering from again when I move down there.

Wow, thanks for your reviews guys. That mac & cheese sounds sinfully good! Gonna try it this week and post a review myself. Interesting that a place with supposedly great burgers has absolutely no reviews anywhere.

Just went there today for lunch and I was thoroughly disappointed with the entire experience.
I ordered the Jamaican burger (Gouda cheese, Jalapeno's, and jerk sauce?) with onion rings for $11 and it was crap. There were no toppings included (i.e. lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle) and the burger patty itself was overpowered by the taste of worchestire sauce. I'm a fan of worchestire but not when it's the only thing you can taste.
My friend ordered a simple bacon, cheddar caramelized onion burger and was also not impressed with it.
The only thing positive about this place is that the burger is big. Otherwise, flavour sucks.
Oh, and the waitress was a complete basket case. Nice but a bit off the wall.

Hmm odd experience. Maybe it's not good for lunch, but the dinner delivery was amazing
