RedFlagDeals.com Drive for the Daily Bread Food Bank 2007!
Last year the RFD community raised over $5000 for Toronto's Daily Bread Food Bank! This year we want to break that record and raise even more!
It won't be officially announced until tomorrow, but you can get a head start and make your donation now on this page:
https://secure.e2rm.com/registrant/S...px?TSID=175723
You'll receive a tax receipt for any donation.
It's a great cause, so let's make this an annual tradition to be proud of!

I have come to the conclusion that food banks encourage the homeless to stay homeless.
Much like the panhandling thread I made a while ago. (here)
That's not to say that it is an awesome charity that helps many people in need.
Awesome way to help nonetheless
thanks ryanLast edited by kuqdew; Nov 5th, 2007 at 04:34 PM.

Amount Raised: $1,731.42 [ 35% of goal ]
Fundraising Goal: $5,000.00
Come on folks, show some RFD holiday spirit. Every little bit counts!
If RedFlagDeals.com has saved you any money this year, we'd like to ask that you consider using some of it to support a great cause.
Even if you can only give $5, it will still push us closer to our goal and will let us and others know that you appreciate what we're doing on this site and the RedFlagDeals.com community. If everyone just donates a small percentage of what they saved by using RedFlagDeals.com, we'll reach our goal in no time!

Can we also have a EMT account set up for those who wish to pay in that method?
I might max out my only CC this year...

I've just pm'd Ryan regarding adding Paypal as an option. EMT would also be a great idea. Hopefully that can be implemented.

Unfortunately, Paypal and EMT options are not available this year as a method of donating.
American Express, Visa and Mastercard payment options are available though.
This is an extremely worthy cause. Please spend a few moments (and dollars) and help sponsor RFD's efforts to help those in need!

I think this is a wonderful thing to be doing especially at this time of year. However, please realize not all of us are from Toronto and I prefer to keep my charitable donations in my own community. I wish you the best of luck and really hope you reach your goal. Mostly though, I hope everyone everywhere has a good meal for Christmas.
Kudos to RFD!_______________
