Refurb Acer Asipire One 8GB $228.73 + $5.99 SH

It shows OOS right now, but it allows you to add it to cart so I imagine they'll ship when they get it. I almost bought one, but I already have an EEE
Acer Aspireone AOA110-1955 (Refurbished) Notebook - White - Intel Atom N270 (512KB shared L2 Cache, 1.6GHz, 533MHz FSB), 512MB DDR2, 8GB SSD, 5-in-1 Card Reader, Wireless LAN B/G, Webcam, 8.9" WSVGA, Preloaded With Linux
$228.73 + tax + $5.99 = $246.46 shipped
Note: Xpress Canada is run by Canada Computers. I really like Canada Computers but in the review section it seems Xpress Canada isn't as great.

The ram is hard to change on the AAO right?

I'm always tempted to pick up a netbook when they're so cheap like this, but I'd mainly just use it for travelling. When it comes witha 3-cell instead of a 6-cell. Buying a 6-cell seperately kills the deal.

Newbie
Infonec had it at that price as well, but it was OOS with ETA unknown. Bet it's discontinued

You need to take it apart, no door on bottom like other brands.

OOS is really sketchy with these smaller retailers, and esp with a deal like this
basically the owner is way closer to the prices and the margins are smaller than say FS, he'll look at the 50 orders and think, hey, I can raise my price and still sell the same #! orders cancelled!

really doubt you'll get one if you order, be warned.
nothing personally against xpresscanada, just pretty sure they won't be getting any more stock.

Not for everyone. I have my SSD Acer in my backpack bouncing around all day long. If that was a regular HDD, it would more than likely be toast by now.
