Register business help -> existing company + another person

I have an existing company, say A ltd. I own A Ltd. Now I have an agreement with another person Mr. B to form another company, call it C Ltd. Basically A Ltd. will have 60% of ownership of C Ltd and Mr B will have 40% of the ownership of C Ltd.

When I tried to register the company online here:

https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency ... ister.html

It asks the owner and the owner is a person, not a business, I have no way to fill in a business as an owner.

So how can I register C ltd.

thanks!

If you are in Ontario the business number is assigned to you automatically once you incorporate, it takes couple of weeks to get it after incorporation.

Incorporating for owner who is a corporation is no different than for individual owner.

The link you have posted is not for incorporating, it is for getting business number which are not the same.

Normally lawyers are hired for the incorporating process, but if you want to do it yourself here are the instructions from the horses mouth.
