Reheating fried chicken

What's the best way to reheat fried chicken? I bought too much and have a box leftover. I'm lazy to fry them so I'm thinking of using the toaster oven but not sure if the skin would be crispy.

If you re-fry them, it is going to be like chicken jerky.

Yup! Second this

I do it in the toaster oven.

250 to 300 degrees.

skin does get crisp.

Microwave is no good. Soggy and wet, but worst is the smell of boiled chicken skin.

I have the Breville smart oven. Should I use oven or reheat?

Not sure what temp that oven reheats but you don't want temps too high to just burn outside wthout heating up inside.

Plus depending on the amount of chicken you are reheating at a time, the time would be different.

Easy to burn fried chicken when reheating, but also want inside to heat up as well not just outside.

350-370 for 10 mins should do it. I use my infrared oven for that - by the time the oven is preheated my infrared has already made the chicken crispy!

Reheated at 350 for 20-30 mins. The skin is crispy, but nothing compared to fresh bought.

Anyone here likes cold fried chicken straight from the fridge? It's been a long time since I had any.

If you just want it reheated without getting soggy, use the reheat mode @ 300-350 + convection
If you want it reheated plus crispy, run it on convection bake at 400.

How? I find the microwave makes almost anything soggy. What's your secret?

We're talking about KFC finger licking good chickens right? Well the oil from the chicken takes care of that.
