Remote Code Help

So I just recently signed up with Shaw satellite. I went out and saw a nice little 24" LED TV at Walmart for $168. Works good enough for the bedroom. Long story short is that I cannot find a code to get it to work with my Shaw remote. From everything I can tell from the Energystar site and even RCA, the TVs are made by Ningbo Sunman Optoelectrics, Curtis has the same model under the Curtis name, and I can't even find it on the RCA site. The model# is RCA RLC2456A. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does the Shaw remote have a scan function?

I know the Express Vu remotes can automatically scan to find the code

Some have a learning feature too

One way to test if it is a standard RCA code is to take that TV remote into a store that carries RCA and see if the remote works on any of the TVs. (Or ask a buddy/co-worker to take it home & try).

Shaw remote should have a scan function.
On my DCX-3400 remote the instructions are actually printed on the back.

The OP did and the scan function didn't yield any results.
