1. right click my computer and click manage
2. go to disk management
3. select empty partition on drive in question, right click and format

Right click My Computer, go to Manage. The go to Storage and then disc Management. Make sure the drive is enabled and format it.

Okay guys, good news. It works perfectly. Also, anyone know if it's normal for an enclosure without a fan? Right now, my enclosure is producing an intense of heat ...



My hard drive enclosure is this:

It has some holes on the side which I don't think it's really effective...

That looks like a 2.5" enclosure, which really doesn't need much cooling except passive (no fan). It really won't get hot enough to damage the internal components anyways so I wouldn't worry too much.
If It was a 3.5" enclosure with a 7200RPM drive, then I'd be a bit concerned, but they usually have a small fan as well._______________
